I taped it last night and watched this morning.  It was nice to see Mark will a full band for a change.

But am I missing something?  All of you are talking about him playing Mistress...but I only saw him play "The Moderately Talented Young Woman".  Maybe he played it but it didn't air with the show?

Sorry guys, I'm lagging on getting the forum up.

I'm currently in the midst of switching web hosts, so I'm working on migrating Wordpress, the old forum, and creating the new forum before I cut the DNS over.

I'm heading to San Diego to see family starting Thursday so my goal is to have everything completed before then.

Thanks for your patience!

It's entirely possible that I'm an idiot, but I can't seem to find any email link. Here's what it looks like from my side of things: http://imgur.com/a/Ld5wJ

*shrug*

At any rate, I'm still happy to pass the second disc along to you, lance. Email me at colin[dot]bernatzky[at]gmail[dot]com.

Do you see one now?

re: Ride remasters: Dave Newton (Ride's manager) confirmed that both the 2xCD 2011 Nowhere and the new CD/DVD of Going Blank Again use the 2001 remasters.

However, Live at the Roxy was remixed from the multitrack recordings and sound noticeably different from the Kaleidoscope promo that has 6 tracks from this show.

Thanks for the heads up, Dave. I'm liking what I've heard so far.

What is "Play Out?"

Play Out was a pay-per-view cable special in 1991. It was called "The Cure: Onstage, Offstage & More" (I have it recorded on VHS.. I was so excited when it came on lol). It was a nice look at the Cure in 1991 playing a warm-up secret gig at a small club in London, backstage at Wembley Arena for the Great British Music Weekend, their performance on Unplugged and a couple other places. It was basically seven days in the life of the Cure from January-February 1991.

They expanded it and released it later that year as Play Out on VHS and Laserdisc (!!). I have the Laserdisc. smile

Besides being an inside look at the Cure that you seldom see, it was also notable because they performed an early version of Cut, called "Away" - which is fantastic.

Ha they're not breaking up, nor are they releasing an anthology.. I was just saying that whenever they do break up and if an anthology does come out, I'm hoping it would include that stuff. wink
